Chicken boneless ½ kg
Chick peas 1 cup
Red lentil ½ cup
Black seeds 1 tsp
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
White cumin seed 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Soda bicarbonate ½ tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Mustard powder 1 tbsp
Tamarind pulp ½ cup
Raw onion paste 2
Lemon 2
Green coriander ½ bunch
Chopped green chilies 4
Tomatoes 3
Salt to taste
Oil 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp

Boil chick peas and red lentil in some water. When chick peas are half boiled add sodium bicarbonate and keep it on a slow flame. Take 1 cup oil in a wok, add in onion paste and fry it. Now add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, cook it and then add 3 chopped tomatoes. When the water dries add ½ kg chicken and salt. Now grind 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp coriander seeds and 1 tsp white cumin seed. Add the grinded spices and cook it. Add in boiled chick peas and let it simmer. After 5 minutes add in 1 tsp black seeds, ½ bunch green coriander, 2 chopped green chilies, ½ cup tamarind pulp, 2 lemon juice and 1 tbsp 1 tbsp mustard powder. Achari Murg Cholay is read after 10 minutes.
